Incubators
At the present, Fork.Research incubates two amazing ideas.
Who needs all the pixels?
Many traditional instruments cannot fly to space today because they require too much mass, volume and/or rely on complex subsystems that are hard or impossible to space qualify. However recent advances in fundamental mathematics came to help, possibly creating a revolution.
At Fork.Research we are actively designing prototypes based on sparsity, compressed sensing and microoptooelectromechanical systems, paving the way for the future of space instrumentation.

Got noisy?
Have you ever wondered what you could do if your imaging data were less noisy?
At Fork.Research we are incubating a hardware processor design that may make this possible. Using this processor, instruments will be enabled to work at the limit of what is physically possible in terms of noise.
